Tell Me Something Tuesday: Advanced Reading Copies

Tell Me Something Tuesday is a weekly discussion post on Rainy Day Ramblings where Rainy discuss a wide range of topics from books to blogging. Weigh in and join the conversation by adding your thoughts in the comments. If you want to do your own post, grab the question and answer it on your blog.

Do you think Advanced Reading Copies are worth it?

Been a hot minute since I have done one of these posts! Been soooo lazy the last few weeks.

Soooo advanced reading copies are SO worth it if the story is good. Okay...let me explain.

If I am in love with the summary and/or the author I am first in line wanting it. Now...if I am unsure and I only like the sounds of it a bit then I might dodge it. It is hard to review them if they ended up being horrible story-wise.

Also, I do worry a smidge about grammar. Sometimes it is rough and a rocky path.

Overall, though, I adore advanced reading copies. It is fun getting a peak at a book before the rest of the world. So fun!

Getting ARCs that I didn't request are the best. No pressure to read them or at least no pressure to read them by a certain time. And, sometimes they are for books I was already excited to read. Yeah, there is that tricky moment on a few when they weren't that good for me and I have to review it. ;)

Gorgeous sunset and wow, great fire there.

Oh, a fire outside when it is dark = one of the pleasures of my life! ARCs are ok.
