The Man Who Loved Christmas, the title of the first story in this collection of mystical tales, is an almost fairy-tale about family and life and Christmas and love that never dies. Protagonists in the other stories range from a teenage girl to an old woman with the theme of family and love and unseen possibilities in the Christmas season.
This collection contains six stories of mysticism, hope and charm, a Christmas gift to readers.
Oooo I needed some Xmas joy and I've had my wee eye on this one.
This is a collection of short stories all around Xmas. Fun!
The Man Who Loved Christmas
I loved this one soooo much. It hit me right in the heart. I even had a small tear. It was happy and sad, but all full of xmas hope. That is why this one deserved to be the featured short story.

Attic Treasures
This one was okay. I was a touch confused when reading it. I had to re-read this again to really understand what had happened...or not happened? Still, a touch confused. I guess it is all up to the reader I guess.

The Still Small Voice
I really liked this one for 99% of it. The last bit got super, duper Christian-y. Normally I can handle a touch of religion...but it got too preachy for my liking. But it does have a good message overall and it did make me cheer at the end!

Three Friendly Beasts
The beginning was slow, but it did get okay at the end. I didn't really get that xmas joy feeling at the end like I wanted. Oh well.

A Cup of Tea
My 2nd favorite of the collection! I simply adored this one. It seemed depressing for 99% of it but that ending SO good. I am so happy and it makes one believe in fate/xmas miracles/etc. Super good.

A Christmas Tale
This was for sure the most unique of the tales here. I liked it a lot. It was sweet and fun. I want a hat like that! LOL Super charming!

Overall
I really liked this collection overall. A couple meh ones, but the rest made up for it. I wanna read these during xmas time. If you are looking for a little joy during this summer/spring, I say grab this. It is quick and will give you a taste of the xmas joy. Overall, I'll stamp this with 3 stars.

well a bit of everything there
Mid-year winter or Christmas reads can be fun. A mixed bag, but glad you had some real winners in the batch.
