Summary:
What if all your wishes could come true? Blink your eyes, drink a fizzing pink potion, and poof! Life is perfect. That's Rachel's situation. Except she's not the one who suddenly has magical powers. Her younger sister is. And as Rachel would tell you, spellbooks are wasted on the young!

Yes, yes, of course world peace and cures for horrible diseases are important. But so is dancing without looking like she's being electrocuted, winning back her best friend, stopping her dad's wedding, and finding a date for Spring Fling.

Rachel's not bewitched. Yet. . . .

Review:
I had picked this up ages ago at a used book store. Seemed right up my alley for sure.

We follow Rachel who is just a young girl who wants it all. Doesn't every teenager? When her little sister suddenly develops magical powers while Rachel hasn't...she is jealous of course, but could she convince her sister to help her get everything she ever wanted until her own  powers can maybe have a chance to start.

This started out so good. Rachel is a little brat...but she was funny. I did feel bad that she didn't have powers while her little sister magically developed powers. That would be annoying BUT Rachel is spoiled and selfish and would for sure use her powers terribly.

I got about...25% done? Give or take and I just could not take Rachel anymore. Ugh. I did skim until the end though JUST to see what would happen.

Even the sister was annoying.

All of Rachel's "friends" were annoying.

Heck...I wanted to shake their mother. She was annoying too.

Everyone was annoying. I couldn't continue forward.

NOW - I will say it there is some humor and I did like the concept.

Totally don't recommend this at this time. Maybe I'll give this another chance someday. Today is not that day. I'll give his 2 stars...just because of the concept and that it did have me laugh here and there.

Ouch, yeah, when you're not into any of the characters, even a laugh or two isn't enough. The title is a crack up and it does sound like a fun one.

B, I don't blame ya.

Nope... Too bad. There is a fine line between making a bratty character likable or just a brat. Sounds like this one didn't work out.
