Summary: Mercedes Thompson, aka Mercy, is a talented Volkswagen mechanic living in the Tri-Cities area of Washington. She also happens to be a walker, a magical being with the power to shift into a coyote at will. Mercy's next-door neighbor is a werewolf. Her former boss is a gremlin. And she's fixing a bus for a vampire. This is the world of Mercy Thompson, one that looks a lot like ours but is populated by those things that go bump in the night. And Mercy's connection to those things is about to get her into some serious hot water...

Review:
This has been something I have wanted to read for a long time. Finally got myself to check it out. It was on Audible...so why not?

The story follows Mercy Thompson. She is a talented mechanic living in the Tri-Cities area of Washington. She is also a walker who can change into a coyote at will. Her next-door neighbor is an Alpha werewolf. Her former boss is a gremlin and she is fixing a bus for a vampire. Life is pretty good. Weird, but good until a runaway werewolf teen shows up on her doorstep and opens up a lot of drama and danger.

Okay. I liked this a lot. I adored Mercy. I want more of her story and to learn more about her.

Adam was fun. I hope we see him more in the future.

I did NOT like Samuel. He can go away. BOO. I do worry about a love triangle uggghhhh we shall see. Hopefully, that doesn't happen.

That poor werewolf teen. I did tear up a little bit after a certain event. Sobs. Poor kid.

The narrator was fantastic. Loved her voices. I want to listen to more by her. I wonder if she did book 2 of this series. Mhmmmmmhhhmmmmmm.

But yesss this was a really good for a UF. I am curious to see what happens next. I do worry about a possible love triangle which I will be mad. I'll give this 4 stars.

I cried a little over the young guy, too.

Love Lorelei King for narrator and yes she does the whole series.

I'm not fond of love triangles either, but the author has a way of writing a story. :)
Glad you loved this!

YEA!! This is such a good UF series that gets better with each book (although there are a couple "setbacks"). You may want to consider also listening to the Alpha and Omega series, which is in the same world. The events in the books cross stories, and I wish I'd known that when I first started. If you want to know chronological reading order: http://www.patriciabriggs.com/books/printabletimeline.html
