2nd Opinion: Thor Ragnarok (2017)

Film Title: Thor Ragnarok
Length: 2 hr and 10 min
Released: 2017
Genre:  Comedy, Action/Adventure
Rating: PG-13
Where I Got It: Netflix

Thor is imprisoned on the planet Sakaar, and must race against time to return to Asgard and stop Ragnarök, the destruction of his world, at the hands of the powerful and ruthless villain Hela.

I had watched bits and pieces of the past Thor movies but this was the first one I was able to watch all this. I missed the beginning though so I had to go back later and watch it.

Thor is always a joy and so is Loki. They certainly found the perfect actors for the role. We get to see Hulk in this too. Love him as well.

There was humor mixed in and I loved it. It worked so well. It felt natural and not overdone. Kuddos. It is hard for an action movie not to get cheesy with the humor. It worked very well and I feel it made it better. I have issues with some superhero movies because they can be dull. This was action-packed and hilarious. Who knew Thor could be funny ;)

The story was done well. From what I remembered the baddie was done well. She is a scary one. I was very worried for everyone.

I do want more with the Valkyries. Maybe a movie all about them! They kick butt! They deserve their own movie  especially that girl. She was fun!!

Ooooo that last scene made me want to watch the next one....but it makes me scared because this is a big baddie and I know I will cry.

In the end, this was good. One of the best superhero films I have watched in a long while. Funny but action-packed. I'll give this 5 stars.
