REVIEW:
The first time I wanted this trailer I was scared. Scared...but curious.

The story follows a family a huge time after some creatures came here. Not sure where or why. But these creatures have amazing hearing and if you make a decent level sound they will hunt you and kill you. The family lives in silence. Thank goodness they know sign language, because the eldest is deaf. Things happen and mama bear is now preggo. We all know that giving birth is a loud and painful affair....sooooooo....

This was such an original concept. Full stars for that. A lot of the film was in silence with reading the sign language if you do not know it...like me. There were times I didn't read since the actors were mesmerizing and easy to read so the subtitles were not even fully needed. This was for sure a risk having limited spoken words, but it was done well.

I was on edge throughout the whole film. Scary creatures. I would not survive...I am clumsy and loud. Talking is a hobby of mine. Haha.

Can I just say papa bear looked good in this ;) He has come a long way from lanky, but adorable Jim from 'The OFFICE'.

The biggest issue I had with the film was the fact that there wasn't any real backstory. You can assume from papa bear's "study"/"work room". Newspaper clippings, notes, and TV. There was some, but I wanted to see what happened. Was it all of sudden? Did it start with a couple deaths? More backstory darnit!

The ending was really good. I did not expect it honestly. I had different outcomes. There was one part right near the end that had me almost in tears. Almost. I was so angry that I couldn't really let tears come.

In the end, a great movie even with my one issue. There was enough backstory to get you by, but I am greedy and I wanted more. The actors....amazing. The story original. I was scared of the creatures and I had no idea what was going to happen. I'll stamp this with a 5 even with that minor issue. Recommend this for people who want something different and don't mind something original.

I'm not a big fan of horror movies. Ok, I'll be honest, I despise horror flicks and rarely, rarely ever watch them. But, there was something about this movie that grabbed my interest. We shall see. Good review!

Hello Ericka! Hopefully, you like it! It wasn't an a-typical horror film. So maybe you'll like at as much as me!

I really do want to see this. Especially with the concept of the lack of sound. And the dilemma of whether or not to dare eat popcorn in the theatre while watching it ;-)

Interesting, especially the concept of keeping silence or be dead. Thanks for a great review!
