Music Monday & Independence Day!

First of all...happy Independence Day!

Today is not one a huge milestone in America's history, but it's a pretty big one for the world. Our independence from England set off a huge domino effect worldwide and many places would follow our example. I find it fascinating how only one event can change the course of history. Imagine if America lost the war? Would Americans have spread west? Would the Bourbons still be sitting on the French throne? Would World War 1 or 2 have occurred?  Would the world be as technologically advanced? There are so many 'what-ifs' questions.

This holiday is by far my favorite holiday! However, I have to work tonight, so I don't get to enjoy the fireworks or anything. I'm a little upset. Anyways, since today is also Music Monday, I'll present a couple video as planned. ^.^

This first one is 'Tonight, Tonight' by Hot Chelle Rae. I love this band. It sort of fits how I feel about my week and plus I wish I could be partying tonight. *sighs* Oh well:

The next one is Carrie Underwood singing America's National Anthem:

Here's a cute little video made by MsDBZbabe, I love her videos!! This one is titled 'Gumdrops and Ice Cream':

Just for my own amusement here's the last video featuring the song 'Fireworks' by Katy Perry:

Again, happy birthday America! Also, happy Monday everyone! Let's hope the week will be amazing!
