I’ve been dying for season 3. Season 2 left on such a huge cliffhanger (figuratively and literally lol). The moment I saw this pop up I was already tuning in.

The first episode left me wide-eyed and rather confused and it in awe of all the blood. I figured this would happen, but just WOW.

There are some plot holes that are starting to possibly start forming. Sometimes writers cannot help it, especially if actors decide not to come back or get fired or whatever. Also, this can happen when they are trying to speed up the plot. Hopefully, this gets resolved next season. I am worried. The plot holes didn’t impact the story…yet. However, I can see some issues on the horizon. There are too many loose ends being left untied. They may not be plotholes YET, but I fear they may if they do not take care of them.

Other than that, I had no issues. I binged watched the hell of this season. I had to know what was going to happen. So much betrayal, new relationships, new information, new reveals, and tough situations. I had no idea what was going to happen.

Oooo! So hard not to give away spoilers!

That last episode drove me insane. It left on another cliffhanger and a certain event happened that has opened the world so much. WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT?! I started the season with my mouth agape and I ended the season with my mouth agape. These writers know how to shock, awe, and entertain their watchers.

BTW – my new favorite this season is Malcolm Brown. LOL. I just had to throw that out there.

Overall, I really enjoyed this season. One of the best so far. SO MUCH GOING ON! I loved it. There are some things that are starting to pop up that worry me for the next season. Some possible plotholes or loose ends that I worry will not be tied up. We shall see. This was done well and I am excited about the next season. I’ll give this 4 stars.

Time for TV Tuesday: Frontier (Season 2)

Frontier (Season 2)

Oh my goodness…I need to write my reviews sooner. It has been a hot minute since I finished this season….let me think…

Okay – so I have been dying for the new season. The last one ended so OMG. The first episode starts right where we left off. It was a slow building up the story again. So much happened and the climax was cra-cra. So I get it why it took a while to position everyone where they needed them. Some character building especially with a couple of characters.

Once the stage was set…things exploded again. OH. MY.GOD. Another season finale that has me needing the next season. I cannot believe it. I mean…I can…I so called something bad happening, but I didn’t know what. A certain character WILL NOT STAY AWAY. Like dude…go away. Ugh. He is a plague. Fans of the show will know who I am talking about.
Also…I AM MAD. SO MAD. I actually grew to like a character and THEY KILLED THAT CHARACTER IN A HORRIBLE WAY! NOOOO! *shakes fist* I had to walk away and finish the last episodes later. I was not a happy camper. The scene, don’t get me wrong, was done well and it all makes sense. But I am po’ed! Ugh. Poor character. Did not deserve that AT all.

Lots of character building at the beginning. It took a while to really ignite but when it did? So good. I am dying to see what happens next. Worth the watch. You have to watch the season before this though to fully get the story and characters.

Very good, but not AS good as the last season. I want blood to be shed!!!! JUSTICE!!!!!
I’ll stamp this with 3 stars.

Time for TV Tuesday #6

An interesting show for sure. It follows a few different characters living in the wild Frontier. The thing that connects all these characters together is the booming fur trade and the threat of the Hudson Bay Company who has pretty much monopolized the fur trade in the area.

The characters were interesting and I love the fact that everyone is so dynamic and complex. I am in love with Captain Chesterfield. He is technically a baddie, but I have hope he may switch sides especially in the last scene of the last episode.

Now, the first half of the season was a little worrisome. It started off a little shaky, but once things got going it got better. The storyline seemed very clique and shallow, but now things are getting more complex and deep.

THAT ENDING!!!!! NOOOOO! YOU CANNOT LEAVE ME LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!!! GAH! *shakes fist* So good, so good.

I do recommend this show if you like historical fiction. Out of five stars, I'll give 4 stars.

Currently Watching:
This is a random find on Netflix...I am mainly waiting it because I love British humor and I like Taylor Launter.

Halfway through Season 1. I forgot how much I loved this show. I do have to roll my eyes out the writing sometimes.

The White Queen

This TV mini-series follows Philippa Gregory's books set during the War of the Roses. The story followed three impressive and influential women of the time Elizabeth Woodville, Margaret Beaufort and Anne Neville.

I've read a couple of the books but there are a whole bunch of them that spans over during and after the war that tore England apart.

It took a while for me to really get into this show. Not because it was slow or boring...but it was confusing. There was really no introduction. I know a thing or two about the war and I was still unsure who was who and where we were in the story. I think the main reason was because there is a huge cast with little to no introduction. After a couple of episodes things began to make sense and I got on track. From there I couldn't stop watching this show. It was addicting honestly.

I really must applaud the casting director. They did a wonderful job finding people who fit the roles and who are excellent actors. I was especially proud of who they found to play Margaret. She fit the character to a T. I am also really proud of who they got to play the devilish George. I simply love that actor. He is amazing.

There are some major historical inaccuracies, but the writers did a good job making those stretches work well and they didn't seem cheesy at all.

I do wish there had been more war scenes. Yes, yes, this story mainly follows the women and what they are up to in the politic realm. However, I do love a good bloody war. ;D We did get some especially near the end. Especially in the last episode since. I was disappointed that there was not an epic duo between the two Kings. I was so bummed. It was anticlimactic.

Overall, I really liked this show. It was good. Not amazing, but good. The cast was wonderful, costumes lovely, and entertaining. The beginning was confusing and then the ending was anticlimactic. I'll give this 4 stars.

Currently Watching:

I went back and forth on what to tackle next on my list. But I think I am going to give this a try.

Finally going to watch this show in chronological order! This is going to be a show Boyfriend and I watch together. I am super excited...it will take forever since it has so many seasons and Boyfriend and I are on different shifts. But it will be worth it.
