2023 TBR Pile Challenge

2023 To Be Read (TBR) Pile Challenge

January 1 to December 31, 2023 (details)

GOAL: Read 12 books on your TBR shelf. Each of these 12 books must have been on your bookshelf or “To Be Read” list for AT LEAST one full year. This means the book cannot have a publication date of 1/1/2021 or later (any book published in the year 2020 or earlier qualifies, as long as it has been on your TBR pile). Caveat: Two (2) alternates are allowed, just in case one or two of the books end up in the “did not finish (DNF)” pile.

There is no order on my list. I'm a mood reader SO I'll grab whatever I feel like first.

Here are my book goals and my general life goals for the year *fingers crossed*

Reading Challenges

- ROMANCE READING CHALLENGE: Fill in the whole sheet

- Audiobook Challenge: Over-Achiever (Power Listener) 75+....I am going to try again on this level since I failed in 2022. 

- TBR Pile Challenge: Read 12 books that have been collecting dust on my TBR list. I will be sharing a different post with the books I have picked.

Life Goals

With the wedding and honeymoon done and gone. What do I have for life goals and plans? Mmmmm. I think I really want to focus on getting into painting again. I did some sketching and painted a little bit....but not much. I should start writing again. I really miss it. 

I also really want to get back on track with my yoga and meditation. I started off strong in 2022, but I fell apart. 2023 I want to do more and stay on track. 

For the blog, I want to post at least 4x a week again. I think it is doable. I also want to focus on my TBR pile. I plan to still read for tours but I'm going to limit it to a book or two a month.

We are hosting another Romance challenge! Going back to the Bingo Sheet-ish style!

 

Rules:

• It has to be a romance novel (it can be multiple genres, but romance has to be a main focus).
• One box per book (if you have a book that meets multiple boxes, you have to pick one).
• No changing the box. Once you assign a book to a box...no switching it. 
• Books can be used in other challenges (ex: Goodreads, Library Love, TBR, Audiobooks, etc).
• Try to get at least ONE bingo (see Bingo Levels).
• The bingo can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. 
• No free space.
• Starts 1/1/2023 and ends 12/31/2023.
• Join whenever.
