Movie Review: Red, White, & Royal Blue (2023)

Title: Red, White, & Royal Blue
Length: 1h 58m
Released: 2023
Genre: Romantic Comedy, What If
Rating: R
Where I Got It: Amazon Prime

SUMMARY:
When the feud between the son of the American President and Britain's prince threatens to drive a wedge in U.S./British relations, the two are forced into a staged truce that sparks something deeper.

REVIEW:
Been meaning to watch this since it was first announced! I adored the book and this cast looks so good. Finally got myself to sit down and watch it.

There is a feud between the sons of the President of the US and Britain's prince. This feud hits an all-time high at a wedding and now it is a worry that this feud could drive a wedge in UK/US relations. PR steps in and decides that they need to become besties. However, this forced proximity sparks something deeper and much more controvesal.

This was so much fun. It made me feel nostalgic for the book!! I may have to re-read it ;)

Amazing cast. They were great. Can Umma be the next president? I loved her in this role.

Such a fun story! I loved seeing these two go from enemies to lovers.Adoooorabllleeee!!!!

Yes, there is comedy, but there are some serious tones that I felt like they did a good job going over...especially for our prince. His grandfather, the King, knows his secret but in order to protect him and the Crown...he has made Henry keep it a deep, DEEP secret. I just want to squeeze Henry!! I get where the King is coming from though. This is unprecedent and he's scared. He doesn't think the British people will accept Henry if he were to come out as gay. If this was real life....I can see the fear.

It's been a while since I read the book, but I felt like this movie did a good job respresenting it. I'll have to re-read it and see I guess....for research ;)

But yesssssssss I loved this movie. I can see myself watching it again when I need background noise.

5 stars from me.

Movie Review: The Proposal (2009)

Title:
The Proposal
Length: 1h 48m
Released: 2009
Genre:  Comedy, Drama, Romance
Rating: PG-13
Where I Got It: Hulu

SUMMARY:
A pushy boss forces her young assistant to marry her in order to keep her visa status in the U.S. and avoid deportation to Canada.

REVIEW:

I am already failing at watching a movie a week. It's already the end of January and all I've watched is this movie and re-watched 'Crazy Rich Asians' for the millionth time. Sighs.

Okay - so here we follow Margaret who is a tough-ass boss and her assistant Andrew. Andrew and the rest of the office hate her. She is tough and mean and cold. Andrew has ambitions to take to be an editor someday, so he is sticking around. Margaret is about to face deportation and if she leaves she loses her job.....so she comes up with an idea to bribe Andrew to marry her and give him the job of the editor. To keep up with appearances, Margaret joins Andrew to visit his parents in Alaska.

I love both of these actors so I'm shocked it took me THIS long (it came out in 2009) to watch it. Eee. #badfan.

This was is a typical Romantic Comedy mixed with Hallmark Bad-Bitch-Boss. She is cold from heartbreaks and he is a kind soul. He defrosts her and they fall in love.

Betty White was in here and I loved her. She is always a gem.

This was funny with some cringe moments that make you laugh even harder.

A fun movie for when you need to laugh. It was pretty predictable though.

3 stars.

DISCUSSION:
Yayy Xmas movie!!!!

I have been watching a few ;) Gotta get some in before the big day

I’ll be honest….that was the only one I have watched this year. I have been baaaaad.

What! Carole, that is crazy! I am watching one right now!

I’ve only read like 3 or 4 books too. That is sooooo weird for me. I guess I’m not feeling the Xmas joy, BUT that movie did make me want to watch more.

I hear you, it´s hard getting into the spirit of things. But ok, we chose a Norwegian xmas movie, let´s do it

I’m excited for this one. It is a different take on Xmas and a different location than what we are used to. Normally these Xmas movies take place in the US or UK. Soo I was excited for a fresh setting.

Well for me it was more like my backyard, but it was fun not for it to be a US or Uk setting ;D

Yes. It was nice.

But honestly, I am all with Jashan on this one, damn it, Xmas cult people!

Yes. I am for sure with Jashan. The only thing I was cringe about him was when he was pretty much SCREAMING outside on the phone. Like, dude! But other than that? Eeesh. I’m surprised he would want to stay. I would want to leave like day 1. After thinking about it….I do understand why they wanted to keep Xmas precisely the same. They were still grieving the dad.

Yes, I get it, but everyone was walking on eggshells and it was doomed to all fall apart. And yes Jashan screaming on the phone was beyond cringe. But poor guy, why was everyone so weird about him being from India? Like omg there are actually people in Norway that are not blonde and Norwegian. It was like they had never seen anyone else in their life. And why did she not want to tell anyone about them getting married? I just did not get it

It really was weird. The little girl didn’t care at all. Are they super remote and never travel to the city? The mom had it stuck in her head SO bad that she wanted her daughter to date the neighbor. I was stunned by them being stunned he was Indian.

I was stunned by that too! And I think they said Telemark so that is in the south. Pretty sure when she went to the airport she went to Oslo. So nope not even in the middle of anywhere. Close to the capital instead. Also, I really disliked…omg I even forgot her name! Like how they went skiing, poor guy, poor guy! Either you let him stay home or you take that poor guy for like a 30-min ski trip. Not on a day trip

For real. I have never skied personally so I could only imagine his pain AND he was so nice. I would’ve been pissed. He was just so nice and they treated him like crap. The sister-in-law and little girl were the nicest to him. They seemed to actually try.

When I said 30 min that is just him trying to like stand, lol, so yes this blew my mind that they made a newbie go on a freaking hour-long trip. Skiing is hard for the muscles. The other traditions, well those I understood. Church, sure, not that I would go, but I guess they are more traditional in their atheism. Church is surely nice on xmas.

I’m glad they didn’t get mad about the dinner. Gah. Jashan deserves all the love. I’m glad they all did the big gesture at the end because they all did him so dirty.

I would have loved to taste that dinner. That I did get, how would we even get real Indian cuisine? It is all very fake. Like here if you want Chinese food, then the restaurant might actually be owned by someone who is Thai. He did diss our poor food that has no taste though. Lol

To be fair…I think he was pretty much done at that moment and super hurt. I think it was after the skiing and church scenes. Ooooo and her lies about the ex? Oof. Again, if I was Jashan I would’ve just feigned being sick or something. IDK. So awkward. BUT the ending was worth it. They all seemed to have talked and opened their hearts. I hope they make a second movie. I want to see them all go to India next ;)

I did not get the mum there. Ok so they had shot glasses, but she was all no no?! And of course, it will go to the guy´s head. That´s like vodka there.
And why didn´t she just say he was her ex? She really was the problem all along. If she had just said it at the beginning then things would have gone more smoothly. I think the mum would have tried then too.

Honestly…all the problems were because of her. She didn’t tell anyone anything. She didn’t communicate. Maybe give Jashan a heads-up about the neighbor who’s an ex. Tell her mom and brother that Jashan is Indian. Tell Jashan some of the traditions AHEAD of time. That is what I would’ve done. She just stayed mum. I don’t get why she was so scared? I feel like the wedding is going to be a hot mess because she won’t stand up for herself or for the people she loves.

I mean isn´t that one of the most important things you tell when you have met someone. Who he is, where is he from, job blah blah. To leave it out was pretty weird by her like she was ashamed. And then support the guy! The mother did not seem like a monster, dunno why the SIL was so scared too. Wearing things she does not want, and eating things she does not like. Hell, when I met my SO and moved forward, oh they know I do not like fish ;) Small things, not gonna fake loving that for the rest of my life.

No one in that family wanted to talk. I feel like the Dad was the only one that forced them to talk. Once he was gone….they just all bowed down to Mom to not upset her. Very strange family so no wonder why the girl was weird (why am I blanking on her name?) *Googles* THEA!! There it is. But yes, so freaking strange. I told my parents all about not only my partners I would bring home but my friends. That is just what you do. So weird.

Communication. It is important. I get that some families have a hard time with that, but come on. You took him home to Norway. They would assume it is a serious relationship then. It was not like she was one town over. Plane tickets cost money!

Yeaaaaaaaah. So this isn’t a feel-good Xmas movie. It actually has some depth and I can’t complain. Yes, there is a HEA, buut it wasn’t an easy journey…especially for poor Jashan.

Still feeling the whole Xmas cult over it. Dressing up in bunad. Doing everything on the exact day. It could have been a horror movie. Think about it.

Yes, it was weird and very cult-like. Like really? You can’t change ANYTHING up for the newbie? The look of horror on her face when he made Indian food for Little Christmas (or whatever it was called) was like he murdered the neighbor.

See my first thought was omg he has been using the food especially for xmas! But nah, it was just that they had to have their special dish on a special day. Weirdos

For real. I would’ve been mad that he used the food I needed, but that wasn’t the case. They were nice to “try” it but damn the dramatics of the spice was too much. I’m sure it wasn’t THAT spicy. I don’t think he would try and kill them.

Like they never had spicy food before? We have all have had spicy food, I def know that water does not help. But I guess they do not know

It felt like they went back in time. Hahaha. Weird family man. I’m curious to see if they do a second movie….I want to watch that disaster too!

I am more stuck on this being a horror movie, they are saving him for the annual Xmas slaughter! Omg, that would have made so much sense!
But a 2nd would be fun

Hahahaha sacrifice him to the Christmas gods.

We used to do that in the olden days.

See? Thea is a time-traveler and Jashan is her next victim.

All hail Oden and Thor. Here is the sacrifice for Yule. Then they eat his heart. Gory. And wait for the next year and who they will take now. No wonder the SIL was scared. She could be next!

That’s why the SIL keeps getting preggo. Hahahaha

Makes sense! Pretty sure the ex is the one killing the victims too. Pretty sketchy guy

DUDE thank you for bringing it up. He was creepy…esp when he was acting as Santa.

Come sit on my lap! No, no man not cool. And everyone was all do it. No.

If that was my partner sitting on their ex’s lap….I would’ve yeeted that ex out the window. Poor Jashan.

The ex had it coming.

FOR real.

Ok. I did like the movie, even in its absurdity. It would have made more sense if it was set like 40 years or something. But it was also based on a true story so I guess Norwegians are just pretty weird.

Maybe it is just this family. Like the SIL was normal-ish. She actually tried. IDK. Some people are weird and closed-minded so I guess even the absurdity can happen in our modern times?

So true. Close-minded people and racists are everywhere. But I would have liked more of a cultural clash movie. Like him being all you guys are weird, and then they all tried to get along. Instead of this…whatever it was.

But I’m with you. I liked the movie. Slightly a mess with the cult, but it does have a good meaning. Be freakin’ nice and welcoming darnit!

And do not be a Thea! Hold on to the one you love and stand by them

Yes. Be open. Be nice. TALK.

The end?

Yesss,  the end. Happy holidays!! Until 2024!

Adam Sandler Movie-Fest

So I randomly went on an Adam Sandler movie-binge. Don't ask me why....I started with '50 First Dates' and went on from there. I didn't realize Hulu had so many of his movies there so I went a lil nuts!

This is literally my favorite Adam Sandler movie! I love him and I love Drew Barrymore. They are both fantastic in this movie.

Such a great cast along with our two mains.

This is such a cute movie and concept. Henry has commitment issues and has plans to do some research in Alaska so he for sure doesn't want to be held down. Lucy had an accident where she loses her memory when she wakes up the next day. Her family and friends pretend it is the same day over and over to keep her from knowing the truth. She and Henry meet and it seems like love at first sight, but things are not simple and he will have to convince her to fall in love every day and convince her family that he is serious.

This is such a sweet story! It is also filled with humor. I used to watch this ALL.THE.TIME. Great movie for a rainy day. Plus, Hawaii is the setting and I adore it! Def a 5-star watch.

Top 5 of my faves from Adam Sandler. Another fantastic movie with him and Drew Barrymore. Why didn't they do more???? They are perfect co-stars.

Set in the 80's....our Wedding Singer is one of the best in the biz, but after his heart is broken he starts to lose himself and his love for weddings. When he meets Julia he can't help but fall for her, but she is unhappily engaged to someone else. Will he be able to win her over and will she have the courage to leave that toxic jerk?

Funny, heartwarming, and super cute. I love that little old lady! She is adorable and I would love for her to be my neighbor or granny!

My only grape is how annoyingly blind Julia and Julia's mother is to Glenn. Glenn is SO toxic and shitty...and he doesn't try super hard to hide it. Julia's mom is pretty shitty too. It sometimes feels hard to feel bad for Julia.

Other than that a 4-star watch! Perfect for a rainy and lazy day at home. Laughs and love.

I remember really liking this one when I was younger. I don't think I like it as much as I did when I was a youth. Maybe because I hated everyone except for Deeds and the folks from his town?

But yes, we have Deeds who is just the sweetest guy and he gets lucky when he inherits a controlling stake in a media conglomerate when his Uncle passes away. Babe (yes that is her name) works for a sleazy media company (much like TMZ) that will do ANYTHING to get the story. She goes undercover to learn about this Deeds fellow and get some dirt. Lo' and behold they fall in love.

My goodness was everyone crappy. Yes, city and rich folk typically are selfish and power-hungry and New Yorkers can be seen as rude....but omg poor Deeds. When things get revealed (you know they do...of course...so no spoiler), Babe's "apologies" are half-assed. She should've owned up WAYYYYY sooner. Deeds deserved better.

But yes, this still had the humor and fun times. But I just didn't buy the romance here. Very little chemistry or was I just blinded by loathing of Babe?

Overall, still worth the watch. It's funny and there is romance. I'll give this 3 stars.

Okay...I remember barely liking this one in my youth. I would watch it if it was on TV and nothing else was there. Buuuuuut.......I found myself actually adoring this one now that I am older.

Sonny has been stuck and not wanting to move forward. He could finish his education and be a lawyer, but he is settling. His GF is done and leaves (which you can't really blame her). A kid falls in his lap and he decides to become his Dad and maybe that will win his ex back. Of course - it doesn't and he is now stuck with a kid that is slowly stealing his heart.

Such an unrealistic concept but it oddly works. The court scene was wild and unrealistic but you can't but love it.

There is a romance here, but it isn't the main part of the story. It is about Sonny and this kid which is nice. I liked the romance, don't get me wrong, but it felt right that the story is mainly about him growing up and taking this kid under his wing.

But yes, a good watch. I liked it way more than when I was a kid. 4 stars.

DISCUSSION:

Hello! What a fun random find of yours!

I would not exactly call it random, EVERYONE talked about it on twitter the day after ;)

Random for me! I haven’t really been on twitter for a few days hehe. And never heard of it! ;)

That is why twitter is good! Everyone liked it so I gave it a chance, later I realised that we should have watched it together ;)

Hahaha I like Twitter...but I’ve just not been using it! I always get like that with Twitter. Use it a lot and then nothing for a few days. Oh well! But I’m glad you didn’t avoid Twitter and was able to find this movie! I really, really liked it!

I am glad I gave it a chance. I do not have a lot of time for movies, but this one really came around at the perfect time. And it was funny, cute and all in all good.

I’m bad at watching movies. I love ‘em. But I have been having a hard time just sitting down and watching one. And yes! It was super funny, super cute, and super awkward. I loved he awkward scenes. They just had me bursting out laughing. I love the two main actors. They are great and great together.

The awkward scenes were the best ;) LOL. And the two actors worked well together. I actually did feel unsure whether they would fit, until one of those last scenes, then they knew, and I knew. Yay.

I felt the same and then everything made sense and I realized they belonged together. I think it was perfect writing. They wanted you to be as unsure as they were. It was wonderful. I wanted to shake him there near the end! I GET his whys, but you need live a little. You need to take a risk. Take a jump.

Netflix really gets the nice ones lately. I am happy with them. Oh, talking about actors, the dad was great. He made me lol.

Mr. Kim was of my favorite characters. He was adorable!! I loved his little scene with the lady. Hahaha. He was a hoot. I also really liked the assistant and her preggo belly.

Really good side characters!  Like a certain Keanu Reeves, oh he was perfect. He was such an asshole.

That really took me surprise that Keanu was there playing as a over-the-top version of himself. It was a nice touch and he was hilarious! I never took him to be funny, but he really pulled it off.

But then you have not watched Bill and Ted, hint hint again ;) But yes this was a perfect role. So self assured, so movie star, and the crying over good. Yes, he was great.

Hahaha true. I have not had that pleasure of that movie. BF says it is good too. One day, one day. But yes! He was fun to watch! The whole scene at the hotel was awkward and funny. It was awesome how they wrote that up. BF totally called how the scene would end with Jenny. LOL

I also liked that, honestly, he was a loser. Living with his dad, what was Randall park’s character called now again?! Anyway, living with his dad cos he told himself he had to take care of him. Smoking pot, being in a band going nowhere. Such a contrast to her, famous and yes light years apart.

Marcus was the name I believe. And yes, I liked how different they were. They always were from different worlds. He had amazing parents who were always there. And she had to  take care of herself and be alone a lot because her parents had to work long hours. So it would make sense that they would grow up different. He didn’t want to leave and she wanted to make something of herself. Which I did get a touch annoyed with her being so angry at her parents. They didn’t choose to leave her alone. They had to work. They were poor and that was the only way to feed her. I mean - I feel bad that she was alone, but she did have Marcus and his parents. I just feel she wasn’t very fair to her parents.

I felt that too about her parents. THey had to work to make a living, and your own store, well you can’t really leave can you. What choice did they have? Not to mention when they do show up they are so nice!

Yes! They wanted to be a part of her life! They worked hard to retire sort of early and be in her life. I really think she was rude to them. They are sweeties.

They so were! Also, why on earth a fight would make two besties lose touch for 15 years...omg stubborn much

He was an ass to her so I get why they fought. But 15-16 years? Why? Get over it! He was upset and sad!!!! But that girl can hold a grudge like no one else can….so it makes sense. He’s stubborn. She holds a grudge….it does equal a long time before they talk it out and forgive each other. I’m surprised he didn’t let his stubborn pride hold him back after that scene.

Ack movie drama. But then there are people like that in rl too so it happens, over stupid things too. But I guess we should say that they needed that time apart to grow or smth ;D

True. I think they did need to grow up and what not. But yes...there are real life ppl like that. Just got blocked and deleted by one because I was honest with her. *shrugs* Oh well. Hahaha. But yessssss I didn’t really have any issues with this movie! It was good all around. Typical movie drama, but it made sense. The ending was cuuuuttttteeeeee and made me happy.

The ending was so cute! Drama, friendship and romance, and weird people showing up. What is there not to like! More please.

Yessss I wanna watch more of these! Maybe we can even squeeze in a Hallmark movie ;) Been a hot min since we watched one of those!

It has been ages! But they are just so cheesy, so incredibly cheesy. Cheese just melts of me while I watch.

We’ll just wait til xmas again. Xmas cheese is so much better xD

True. Oh, wait there was this one I wanted to watch. Two women changing place, a princess one ;)

I wonder if I watched that one! I watched one a couple of months ago that was cuuuute and cheesy! And a touch of funny.

I can not recall the name now…

Mhmm we’ll have to do some digging! So! Final thoughts about this fun movie??
(OOOO! Was it Princess Switch)

Fun movie! Recommended
Yes it was!

Agreed! Totally recommended!
And I watched that movie! Cute! I think you should watch it ;)

Will do, one day! ;)

Yesss! And I kinda wanna rewatch this one. It was that good! I also wanna rewatch Ali Wong’s stand-up.

I did not know about her standup, but then I do not watch stand up so

She is a hoot!

Must check her out then

Yess and she is preggo in two of them. LOL.
The end?

THE END

REVIEW:
I've had this on my list for a while. I needed some funny and/or sweet this week. It's been a long, rough week.

This really did put me in a good mood. It was funny and cute.

The story follows Noah who has been friend-zoned for 3 years to the girl who he thinks is the girl of his dreams. He gets a chance to go back in the past and re-do everything. Should he? Why not? Does no one ever, ever learn?????? Sighs. Oh well.

But yes, Noah will try to fix the past a few times but for some reason, it goes wrong. Did he never watch that Brandon Fraser movie or any sort of time traveling movie or book??? I guess not. It was so funny to see how bad he screws things up. Even in the "perfect" timeline, it goes wrong. Can't say, but that was the saddest one. I actually teared up. Everything seemed SO perfect, but alas, you can't change the past without having to deal with the outcome.

I loved Carrie. She was for sure the voice of reason in all the timelines. She was bitchy and hilarious. I would want to be her or have her be my BFF.

Noah was okay, but my goodness I wanted to slap some sense to his thick little head!!!!! Just be happy Avery wants you to be his friend. Stop being an idiot. Being in the friend zone is not all bad. Stop being blind!!! Look around you! The true love of your life could be around the next corner. Sighs.

There were some plotholes too, but what do you expect with a time-traveling movie??

I really, really liked the ending. It was so good!! It made all the plotholes and annoying moments worth it. Noah really grew up. Thank goodness!! I wanted to like him, but his immature ways killed me.

All-in-all, I liked this film. It is not the best movie and there are some issues, but it made me laugh and made me sad. The ending was so good. I'll give this 3 stars.

Movie Review: Just Friends (2005)

Film Title: Just Friends
Length: 1 hr and 36 mins
Released: 2005
Genre:  Comedy, Romance
Rating: PG-13
Where I Got It: Netflix

SUMMARY:

While visiting his hometown during Christmas, a man comes face-to-face with his old high school crush whom he was best friends with -- a woman whose rejection of him turned him into a ferocious womanizer.

TRAILER:

REVIEW:
I had watched this years and years ago and I enjoyed it. This popped on Netflix so why not? I was craving a romantic comedy and who doesn't like a little xmas in July?

Chris was a fat guy in High School in love with his best friend who was the prettiest girl in school. After being embarrassed he runs off and changes his life around. He loses the weight and becomes a stud. He becomes a rep or manager for musicians. Things happen and he lands back in his hometown and comes face-to-face with his old friend and first love.

OOOOOH Chris. Just because you were friend zoned in High School and now you are hot does not mean you can be a jerk. He is a womanizer and he did not deserve Jamie right away. I'm glad he had to have some realizations and had to really work and earn Jamie. Maybe he should've TOLD Jamie in High School he loved her and wanted to be his boyfriend.

This was a funny film. Very goofy, but there are some feels here especially near the end. I could relate to Chris in some ways. However, he was jerky there for a bit.

My only real complaint, why did his old High School friends take him back? He totally blew them off for yearssssssssss! I would be so annoyed and not really willing to help him out. They are too nice and that felt unrealistic how quickly they forgave him for running away and never hanging out. There were a few unrealistic scenes, but that one really bugged me.

This is is a fun film to watch especially if you are looking for a comedy with some romance. It is not your typical com-rom film. Which is refreshing for the genre! If you need a refreshing film to laugh and enjoy on a cloudy day, I recommend this.

I'll stamp this with 3 stars.

Time for TV Tuesday #4

Recently Finished:

Rules of Engagement (Seasons 1-7)

Took me a while to finish this series. There are 7 seasons in total. I do wish they had had one or two more. It was really good.

This is a classic sitcom with fun characters. I loved how all the characters interacted and how they were all in different levels of their lives. We have the old couple who has been married 10+ years. We have the new couple who just become engaged. And there is the single friend who will never settle down.

I think what I loved the most was how much I related to these characters. My own group of friends has some similar group dynamics and characteristics. The best shows are the ones you can relate with or get a laugh about. I especially connected with Audrey on a lot of things especially the couple of episodes about her trying to find some sort of happiness in her career and finding her way.  My boyfriend is a lot like Jeff...insensitive, frugal, funny, and too damn cute.

I was worried about Russell...I hated him the first three or four seasons. He was so 2D and so stereotypical. His character really blossomed when he hired his assistant Timmy (who became a show regular). Timmy is the opposite of Russell in every way and so this gave Russell some time to really grow and become a hair better. Sure, he still is a womanizing, narcissistic, spoiled brat, but at least we know he has a teeny and tiny heart.

Adam and Jen were the cutest couple for sure. I loved Adam so much even when they slowly made him the dumb, hot friend. I'm glad they didn't fall into the trap of having the girl be the dumb one in the relationship. I think making Adam the dumb friend was a good move. He was the most hilarious person on the show. Jen was okay...I hated how perfect she was. Not only was she hot, but she is funny and can get down with the dudes. At the same time she loves smexy time and is the most understanding fiancee in the world. Her only flaw is throwing shitty parties and she can't cook (so it made me feel a little bit better towards her).

Well - the first season was eh. It took a while for me to really warm up. I was hooked by season 3. I'm sad they were not able to do an extra season or two, because I feel there was a lot of loose ends. Sure they tried to shove as much as they could in the last season, but I feel there was a lot of story left that needed to be told. Especially about Timmy and Russell. I get WHY they did what they did...but it needs to be fixed, because it was strange. I liked it, because it shows how much Russell needs Timmy and is willing to sacrifice for his friend...which is so NOT like Russell at all, so it was nice.

My only real issue with the whole show was recycled material. At times it felt like one of the shows where the characters never truly learn their lesson. They go through all this stuff and they don't learn the lesson. I guess it represents real life, because people do tend to do that...they repeat old behavior because they never learned. However, it does get a little old while watching it on the TV.

Other then the recycled material and a quick ended last season, I felt like this was a really good show that deserved more seasons. I can for sure see myself rewatching this in the future. I highly recommend it if you like a sitcom about relationships of all types and different levels. It's a good show to watch with your significant other. Boyfriend really liked it too.

Season 1 - 2
Season 2 - 3
Season 3 - 5
Season 4 - 4
Season 5 - 5
Season 6 - 5
Season 7 - 3

After the math, I'll stamp the overall show as a 4.
