Review:
Yayy! Stumbled upon book 3 on the library app so I swooped in right away.

We continue with Kate's story. She works for the Order of Merciful Aid and has to deal with paranormal problems at all hours of the day. When Kate's werewolf friend is discovered nearly dead, she must confront her greatest challenge yet as she is lead to the Midnight Games. This is an invitation-only, no holds barred, and ultimate preternatural fighting tournament. She and Curran must uncover the dark plot that could destroy Atlanta's shapeshifting community.

Things got dark really, really quick in this one. The Midnight Games is like a black hole. Money and fame are cool and all....but at what cost??????

Like in book 2 I am beginning to like Kate more and more. Book 1 I had major issues with her and with Curran. I'm liking both a lot now that we are really seeing more of them and understanding them. Curran is still super-duper alpha and I'm glad Kate isn't giving in. He needs to earn it for sure.

I love our side characters the most still. Like Derek. Like Kate's BFF and that hunk Raphael. I wonder if there is a short story or something with Andrea and Raphael......*makes mental note*

The last quarter of the book had me on edge! I could not stop listening!!!!!! I was sooo worried!

The narrator is fantastic! Love her voices. All different, all perfect for what I envision.

In the end, I liked this book just as much as book 2! Loving our characters. Loving the story. Can't wait for the next. 5 stars.
