(Jane Jameson #2)

Summary:
With her best friend Zeb’s Titanic-themed wedding looming ahead, new vampire Jane Jameson struggles to develop her budding relationship with her enigmatic sire, Gabriel. It seems unfair that she’s expected to master undead dating while dealing with a groom heading for a nuptial nervous breakdown, his hostile werewolf in-laws, and the ugliest bridesmaid dress in the history of marriage.

Meanwhile, the passing of Jane’s future step-grandpa puts Grandma Ruthie back on the market. Her new fiancĂ©, Wilbur, has his own history of suspiciously dead spouses, and he may or may not have died ten years ago. Half-Moon Hollow’s own Black Widow has finally met her match.

Should Jane warn her grandmother of Wilbur’s marital habits or let things run their course? Will Jane always be an undead bridesmaid, never the undead bride?

Review:
I adore this author's books!!! Finally got my hands on book 2!

Jane has a lot on her plate. Her best friend Zeb's wedding is around the corner. She is struggling to develop her budding relationship with Gabriel. Her family relationship is struggling. And things get more complex, when her future step-grandpa passes and Grandma Ruthie falls into the arms of Wilbur. The two become quickly engaged, but there is something up with Wilbur and he has own history of dead spouses.

Sighssssss....Jane needs to run away screaming from her family and Zeb's family and to-be family. They all suck! They are terrible!!!

I am also meh about Gabriel especially after this one. He is hiding something. He knows that Jane knows he is hiding something...why can't he tell her? They are dating. Maybe Jane can help?? I don't trust the boy as far as I can throw him.

This was hilarious and over-the-top. Sure....some parts did get over-the-top and annoyed the crap out of me. Like Jane's sister and granny. Screw them. I can't believe their mother and father are letting them treat Jane like that. I hope mom and dad step up soon.

I am curious to see what is next. There are a lot of ties left untied. Lots of drama and words left to say. I would love for Jane to get the support she needs from her family, but I don't see that happening. I also still don't trust Gabriel. For a man THAT old....he is dumb.

Narration sucked....just kidding. I adore this narrator so much! She fits all the characters perfectly and her voice puts a smile on my face. One of my favorites for sure.

In the end, this was a fun continuation from book 1. You will need to read book 1 since I can't imagine reading this without all the knowledge and events from previously. There was some too over-the-top bits...like Zeb's mama....but I enjoyed it. I do hope Gabriel is redeemed in the next book. I'll give this 3 stars.

I did read these like 10 years ago so I don't remember a lot about it

I think there are four books in the Jane/Gabriel series before they spin-off to single story romances. But it's all good - just stick with it!
