REVIEW:
I've been curious about this film just for the fact I want to know what is going on from the trailer. BF got this for us to watch.

The story follows a family who is spending some time together on a vacation. We have Adelaide who is paranoid and scared since she had a weird and scary thing happen to her when she was a child. We have her hubbie Gabe who is annoying and an a-typical American man; loves sports, boats, etc. Then we have their 2 kids; Zora is who a too-cool-for-my-family teen and Jason who is the a-typical little brother. They seem like an a-typical family. Then one night they come face to face to their dark twins who want to kill them.

This was pretty dark and creepy. There was a lot of symbolism running around and we honestly spent a good time after the end credits looking stuff up and trying to learn more. It makes you think for sure. It also makes you a touch paranoid and creeped out.

That dark version of the family creeped me out so much! I even had a nightmare about them! But....I did feel for them especially when the big secret came out near the end. I was all shocked! And a small part of me couldn't blame them for wanting to do what they wanted to do. NO SPOILERS I PROMISE!

OoooOOOOooo that twist at the end was good. SO good. It made everything make sense.

This wasn't a jump scare. It had a lot more of the psychological scares and creepiness. So good if you don't like the jump scares.

In the end, I liked this movie. It was intense and creepy, but thought-provoking. For sure worth the watch. I'll give it 5 stars.

Interesting how it really got you to thinking and get interested in facts to look up afterward. I can't do this level of terror, but yay for a five-star watch for you.

Sophia, I was so surprised myself. It was a good one and certainly deserved a 5
