Nooooooo!

I've had my first DNF of the year already!!!!! Noooooooo!

This sounded so good and it was free so I had no choice. Yes. It is a YA paranormal book, so it was a risk and I lost.

Where did I get lost?

Well, I had to roll my eyes when her mother just up and left her to live in this big ol' house all by herself. Okay lady she is 17...she needs you. But this didn't stop me.

Right after she reads the note (yes, the mother just left a note and left in the middle of the night like a coward), she ran to school. She tells her friends about what her mom did. Everyone says how much that stinks except her one friend asks, "When is the first party going to be?" WHAT. THE.HELL? Okay, okay...he was a teenage boy so I rolled my eyes and kept going.

Next and finally, as she is heading home the mysterious new boy comes up to her and is all creepy and she doesn't run away screaming like a normal person would. This was too much. I turned my kindle off and walked away. Nope...all done.

This was a no-go. Try is you will! There are some people who loved it. You either love it or you hate it. DNF for me.
