REVIEW:
Blodeuedd had suggested watching this!! So I forced BF (*edit - FH) to sit down with me and watch it. It is totally up our alley.

We follow a young couple who are ready to move up in the world and buy their first house. They find themselves trapped in a mysterious labyrinth-like neighborhood of identical houses and forced to raise a strange boy who seems to age at an alarming rate.

This...was strange. Super strange. Weird. Crazy. Amazing. It is a film you can't stop watching and thinking about. How....why? What?????!!!!!!!

THAT ending. Derm! It was good. I had a small tear, but it was good. Can't say WHAT happened...1) spoiler and 2) it's hard to explain unless you watch it.

We had watched this in.....December? I can't remember now, but I decided to re-watch it recently so I could finally write this review.

OOOOO the foreshadows and metaphors are hauntingly good. Especially the metaphor at the very beginning. Fantastic writing there.

The cast was fantastic as well. That guy played an awesome creepy guy. *shudders* I would've ran out of that office before even leaving to look at the house. NO THANK YOU SIRRAH!

In the end....this was a really good movie that will leave you saying WHA? The writing was fantastic...the cast did awesome. Blodeuedd is a smart lady....watch it if you like films that give you goosebumps. I'll give it 5 stars. It was originally 4 stars, but after re-watching recently, I had to bump up the score.
