8/16/2022 What do your family and friends think of your blogging?

I don't really go around talking about my blog. Just rarely comes up. Those of my friends and family think it's cool and is super supportive about it. I think a couple follow me? Not really sure though. LOL 

My hubby has been supportive but I don't think I told him about it until year 2 of dating? He's not much of a reader but he never really gives me crap about all my books. He has never suggested I downsize. This is wise because my books are my babiessss.

What personality traits do you love/hate in a character? 

Eee! I've been excited about this one! I for sure have some strong feelings on things I love and hate about characters. 

THINGS I HATE: 

• Dumb characters who do dumb things for no reason. 
• Overly perfect characters. NO ONE IS PERFECT DARN IT! *shakes fist*
• Overly jealous characters. Okay. There is a clear line in the sand for this. I like a little jealousy when it is called for it. But being obnoxious about it? Naw. 
• Overly protective. I like protective characters, but there is a fine line. C'mon. 
• Being 2D and boring. Get a personality...
• Whiney! 

THINGS I LOVE:

• Tough/strong-willed characters. 
• Complex personalities. The number 1 example is Iago from 'Othello'. He has remained one of my favorite characters. So complex!
• Smart and thinking before acting. I love when characters actually take a second to think before reacting. 
• Protective. Another one that there is a fine line in the sand. I love when characters are protective, but there can be too much of a good thing
• Funny! I love a hilarious character, especially when needed. 
• Serious. I love the serious male characters!  Someone's gotta warm them up ;)

How do you beat the winter blues?

I remember doing this prompt last year. I listed things I do personally to avoid the winter blues. This time I'll actually share what "professionals" suggest. 

I found this article that is really informational. Click this link. But here is a synopsis of what they suggest:

- Keep Active. 
- Go Outside
- Keep warm
- Eat Healthy foods
- Get light therapy 
- Sit in front of a light box for 30 mins
- Take up a new hobby
- Stay social
- Talk about it
- Join a support group

One thing I like to do is drink with friends to beat the winter blues. We did that this weekend even though we got a lot of snow. BF, me and a couple of friends went to the Royal Oak Onesie Pub Crawl. It was so much fun! We even got our faces painted.

I was working a lot and doing school, so I was bad and skipped out on working out for a week. However, my friend Court and I doing a challenge to get out of our rut. Its a 30 day work out challenge. Every day we go we get one dollar to spend at our planned girls day out! :3 To make it even more fun we are doing a quote a day! ^.^

Back From Ohio & Happy 4th of July

Ahhhhhhhhhhh feels good to be back. :)

If you are wondering, some friends and I went down to Ohio to visit our friend Autumn and her beau for Autumn's birthday/4th of July. It was nice to see friends and travel, but nothing beats home. ^.^

Congratulations All Around!

Saturday 18th, 2012 my best friend Anee was married to the love of her life and father of her two babies, Jon. She gave me the honors of being her Maid of Honor! I couldn't be happier for my little Ado Anee, because she had to wait FOREVER for this wedding, she was suppose to have it many months ago, but she found out she was preggo with her second baby Evan, so she delayed the wedding. All-in-all the wait was well worth it. It was so fun and a night I will never forget! My phone was dead and I lost my camera, so I personally don't have many pictures from that night or the ceremony. The one's I'm borrowing are from Facebook, hahaha, so they are not perfect, but I'll share a few!
