Medusa is a nice girl, Aphrodite is empowering, Loki vanished on thin air, Isis doesn’t have a memory and Anubis is the only sane one. Join them all in an adventure that mixes the styles of ABC’s Once Upon A Time and Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson. What this can possibly mean? Why, chaos, of course!

And chaos did ensue in this one! Lots of drama, mythological people running around, revenge, evil plans, love, hate, and poor Kitty in the middle of it. I did feel bad for Kitty. Yes, she did it to herself, because she had plenty of opportunity to leave and be like "Yea - no...not dealing with you mythological people and your drama", but alas, she stayed. She couldn't help herself.

Honestly....I would have prolly stayed myself. Meeting people like Thor, Anubis, Aphrodite, Medusa, and so many more? Yea - I would have issues leaving as well.

But yes, this was a fun story and a fun world. Very, very creative and unique. The characters were intriguing, even though I wanted to punch Thomas in the head a few times because he was an idiot from time-to-time.

My only real issue with the book was that it needed a good read-through. There were a lot of grammar issues, English sayings not used correct, and so forth. However, its not entirely the author's fault, English is not her main language, so its hard to write an entire modern-set book in English. Words will be missed, grammar oopsies, and English sayings not used correctly.

In the end, this was a fun book with a very unique plot and characters. I recommend it to those that need something different to shake-up their reading list. The only big issue I had was the grammar and so forth...it made some parts a little hard to read, but generally it went well and it was a quick read. Out of five stars, I stamp this with 3.

B, sighs a good start. Needs some edits.
