What are some big misconceptions you had about blogging when you started?

Another good question!

I think the biggest misconception was that no one would read my blog. I just thought that there would be one or two. That is why my old, old blog failed. I lost hope and caring. However, I didn't care. I just wanted to share my feelings and thoughts about the things I love. 

Sure I don't have a lot of followers. However, I have a few and I have some loyal ones. Would I like more followers? Sure! It doesn't bug me if I never get a new one because I love my blog so much.

Why Should You Comment?
Ooo commenting. I love commenting, but I always have issues on what to say. I want it to be slightly meaningful, but sometimes I just am at a loss for words. However, I have to put something because I want the blogger to know I see, I read, and I care. 

If you like a blog or blogger you should say SOMETHING after reading the post. It shows that you had seen their work. It shows that you read even part of the words they worked on. It shows that you care and support them. 

Commenting will also encourage the blogger to continue to blog. I know I get sad when no one comments and it makes me question my blog and if I should keep on trekking on with something no one reads or cares about. Sure, this is a little pathetic and one should not care what others think. However, people want to be seen and want to be heard. This is human nature. 


To keep a blog alive a simple comment is always helpful.
