Review:
Been meaning to read this for a while now. Finally got this downloaded to read.

This is a variation of the beloved P&P story. Mr. Darcy meets Elizabeth...but he is already courting another young lady. But feelings are strong...what will they do when they realize they love each other?

I'll admit.....I struggled quite a bit with this one. It was oh so slow. And this Mr. Darcy was different. I'm all about changing stuff, but he was super different. He even apologized SUPER early on for insulting Lizzie. Mmmm.

However, I pushed through. I really wanted to complete this for multiple reasons. There were sprinkles of good moments through the boring. So yes, I pushed through. I was rewarded that the last 25% was really good. :D I loved watching Lizzie and Darcy be in love...get married....and that epilogue? ADORABLE. The love letters and words of love were soooo sappy but adorable.

I wish I had liked this more though. Maybe it's just me? Seems like so many people LOVED this. Can't win them all.

2 stars from me.

UGH. I hate when books don't live up to expectations.
