Summary:
Mog is a daring cat who loves trying new things. Tom is more of a homebody and a sloth. It is rare to see him anywhere other than lying on the soft, red sofa. One chilly afternoon, Mog has an idea. She draws a map and convinces Tom to go on an adventure.

Mog and Tom is a charming children’s story in the Humorous Healing Anagrams series using words that are anagrams of the phrase “stomach flu” and other connected words and phrases. These two cats will warm your heart as they take your mind off your problem, allowing you to focus on something different. You’ll find that sometimes the best adventures are the ones where you don’t know where you will end up.

At the end of the book is a list of the anagram words used to create this story. Children are encouraged to write their own fun stories using this list of words.

Review:
I was asked to read and review this little gem of a story. It is about cats so OF COURSE I said "Sign me up".

Mog is daring. Tom is a homebody. They are best friends, but oh so different. One chilly afternoon, Mog has an idea. She convinces Tom to go on an adventure with her. He reluctantly agrees, but doesn't want Mog alone out in the big world.

This was so utterly adorable. I loved Tom and Mog. They are too cute!!!! I loved how different they were but how much they loved each other. So very sweet.

The animation was cute and the story was sweet.

Honestly, this should be a print. I don't think kids would enjoy this as much...plus I think it would bring the art to life.

I loved the messages this conveyed.

However, I didn't fully get the anagram thing at first. I read some reviews and etc and then went back. Okay....I see it but I don't think it's necessary at all. I just enjoyed the story, the cats, and the art. Maybe I am missing the point.

Minus the whole anagram thing, I found this delightful and cute. I would read this to a little one.

4 stars.

Jen, isn't it cute??

B, per the google (it can better explain then me hehe), "An anagram is a word or phrase formed by rearranging the letters of a different word or phrase, typically using all the original letters exactly once."
