TMST: What I Love About Summer

Summer? I love summer. I love bonfires and going out in the water. I love sunbathing and walking around with no shoes. Nothing beats being able to read outside with a drink in hand and a light breeze cooling me off. Sighs! Such a dream!
I love 4th of July because of the fireworks! They are so beautiful!
I love the warm sand and getting my toes dusty with it.
The beautiful sunsets and sunrises seem to have an extra sparkle and shine when it is summer.
Summer isn't my favorite season, but I do adore it.

Camping is Good for the Soul
I've been really stressed the last month or so due to school and work. This trip could NOT come quick enough. The gang and I went to Mio again (we went there last year too) and it was just as fun and just as beautiful as it was last year. Honestly, I wish I could become feral and be a wild-woman in the woods. haha 'tis only a dream though. Luckily we left when we did, because a huge storm came rolling in. Here are some pictures (excluding the ones from the river where we went tubing, because water and phones don't go together well):

The high mountains are blasted oft

Fortune with Health stands at debate.
The fall is grievous from aloft.
And sure, circa regna tonat.
These bloody days have broken my heart.
My lust, my youth did then depart,
And blind desire of estate.
Who hastes to climb seeks to revert.
Of truth, circa regna tonat.
The Bell Tower showed me such sight
That in my head sticks day and night.
There did I learn of of a grate
For all favor, glory, or might,
That yet circa regna tonat.
By proof, I say, there did I learn:
Wit helpeth not defense to yerne,
Of innocence to plead or prate.
Bear low, therefore, give God the stern,
For sure, circa regna tonat.

Music Monday & Birthday Wishes
Happy Monday everyone! Today is Issac's first birthday. We celebrated it yesterday, but oh well. As you all know Issac is my "nephew". His mom is my best friend and I can't imagine life without either one of them. Luckily I was working midnights at the time of Issac birth, because Anee was so scared and she texted me for hours until she actually went into birthing mode. I was so scared for her!

He's such a big boy. I can't believe how big he is getting! Soon he's going to be a big brother. Anee's about to pop and I'm so excited! Of course I'm scared as Hell too. Child birth is NOT fun...or so I hear. Haven't had to do that yet.
Here's 'Rolling in the Deep' by Adele, which was the number one song at the time. Which is kind of funny, because Anee is in LOVE with this song. Funny how things work:
