REVIEW:
Went down a rabbit hole for sure. BF and I watched the documentary on Netflix and then decided to watch this film. So good.

This is the story of Ted Bundy. We all know about the horrible and wicked things he did. But here is a POV to the story we never got to see. Before Ted would go down in history as America's most notorious and charming killer...he was a family man. He and his longtime girlfriend had a life together. He helped raise her daughter and went to school to be a lawyer. Everything fell apart because of one phone call.

Zac Efron was FANTASTIC. He gave me chills. He deserves all the awards for his role. He really brought this terrible man to life. He had the charm and lovability....but behind it all you see the glimpses of evil. Especially the scene with the dog. Right then and there you see behind that mask of handsome....you see the monster slipping through. I was always meh about Zac. Sure he was hot and all....but this film really flipped my opinion. Zac is an amazing actor. I want to see him do more films like this. He can really pull off complex roles. All the other cast members did awesome too 100% BUT Zac carried the film.

People were pissed that they had such a good looking fella like Zac play him. Some people felt like this movie was glorifying the man and romanticizing him. Those people really don't know their history then. He was romanticized. Women across the world LOVED him and thought he was innocent. Even the judge had moments of DANG he is good. BUT he was evil. He did it...100%. He was a monster, but damn...he was charming especially to women. HOW do you THINK he could get his way into those women's paths? They trusted him for that short amount of time. They trusted him and were brought in by his good boy looks and charms. It lead them to their doom. This film really shows this. It was hauntingly perfect. Women and some men fell for his lies. He was evil.

I have never read the book which was written by Liz the real life ex of Ted, but I want to. I can't imagine being in her shoes. *shudders* I would be just as guilt-ridden and haunted.

They really don't show any of the gruesome murders. We all know what he did. This was about the show that Ted created in court and in life. This is about watching Liz get through that circus. I'm sure a lot of people were not happy that we didn't see any of that. I'm not. It would've just been a slasher movie at that point. This was more complex and deep this way. It was done well.

I can rant and rave about this movie all day. It really blew me away. 5 stars. You should watch it. I want to re-watch it soon. So good. For sure a candidate for best of the year ;)

REVIEW:

Been meaning to watch this movie. I had LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the first movie when it came out in 2002. It was so fun and cheesy and cute. I was scared to watch this because it has been so long and I do worry about sequels.

The story follows our beloved Portokalos family. It has been years since we last saw them. They are older and the kids are growing up. Toula is facing a new life change...her daughter is about to go away to college. But where? At the same time of her crisis, her parents are having their own crisis....the marriage certificate was never officially signed in Greece years ago...soooo by the law they are NOT married.

This was a chaotic mess, but fun. This family really makes me laugh, but I love them. Apart of me wishes I was part of their family, but then there are some similarities to my own big family and it reminds me that I can barely handle my own so I would not survive this one.

I do love that we got to learn more about some of the other members of the family. It was nice.

John Stamos makes an appearance in this for like 10 mins. He's so hawt, but his character was totally just written up for him last second. Pah-lease. I get you wanna add him, but I wish he had more influence over the story or a bigger part. Maybe a hot cousin? IDK. Something. I feel like he was just there for eye candy.

The acting was 50/50 in this. Half of the crew were fantastic and fun! The other half? Ugh. What happened? Did you forget how to act? I usually don't name names, but Toula seemed so....stiff. She had one octave in her voice. Even when she was angry...it didn't seem like she was angry. Was she like that in the first film? Mmm I'll have to dig that up and rewatch it someday. But yes. It was awkward sometimes with awkward acting.

The ending was CUUTTTTE and it made me happy. Like the first film, they are leaving some wiggle room to have another sequel. CUTE! I hope someday maybe. I do want more time with this family.

Overall, I did like this film. It was cheesy and cute and made me chuckle. If you liked the first one, you will like this. It was nice to see everyone and learn more about our side characters. Not as good as the first movie, but it did okay. I'll give this 3 stars.

REVIEW:

OooOOOoooo I've been itching to watch this movie since I saw the first trailer. I'm cheap and I don't like going to movie theaters anymore....I know...I know....but since I have the majority of streaming services...why spend more money when I can just wait a while and watch it there? Plus Blodeuedd liked it to from her review earlier which you can check out if you click THIS

Okay - so the film follows architect Natalie who used to be a romantic in her youth, but thanks to her mom and life...she hates romantic films. Well, after a bonk on the head she is transported to her very own romantic comedy. How on Earth is she going to get herself out of this jam?

WHAT A MISERY THAT WORLD WOULD BE!!! Living in a PG-13 movie??? Boring. I would snap. Yes, super snap. Just the idea is hilarious but poor Natalie!

This was hilarious, especially because we all know the cliche scenes that are in every other romantic film, and seeing it in this light is truly comedic. We love them in films, but THAT is not real life.

LOVED the cast. I wish we had more time with the enemy in the workplace trying to sabotage the main character. They could've done more with that.

This is so cheesy, but I love cheesy. Just be warned of the cheese level ;)

Loved the ending....not the final dance/song scene though. I think that was a hair too much for me if I am to be honest here.

Overall, this was fun and I want to re-watch it. Worth the watch. I'll give this 4 stars.

REVIEW:

This was a movie BF really wanted to watch. I was meh at first but I sat down and watched it with him because I am a nice GF ;)

The story follows Curtis and his fellow back-of-the-train crew. They are 3rd class and are treated like crap. It is the future and 17 years ago the world fell apart due to a failed climate-change experiment that killed everyone except for those on the train. Curtis and his crew are done being the trash in the back.

This made me really, really, really sad. Yes, the story is dark, but what made me really sad is because of how accurate this is. If this happened for real....humanity would do this. It makes me sick because we have class systems now (not to this extreme), but they exist. This movie really shows how crappy humans are. These poor people were given a "gift" to be on this train and now they are garbage and easily tossed to the side when they have to "lower" population on the train. SMH.

So yes - this is DARK. Very DARK. But you can't look away from this film. You are rooting for these underdogs and they deserve good food and a good life like the front of the train people. I cannot imagine living this life. I don't think I would want to be on this train. I'd rather had been like others who didn't get on the train especially because I know I am not rich and I would be like Curtis and the other poor people. No thank you. I'll die with grace and freeze to death.

OOOOOooOOOOO I am sooooo mad. My favorite was killed. UGH. Why does that always happen to me?? SIGHS.

The ending shocked me. I was confused though about what happened...I know WHAT happened. But there were some loose-ends that confused me. I may have to re-watch. Mmm. Or they need to make a sequel? Too open-ended for my liking. But yes - I would re-watch this.

OOO I am totally on board with the theory that this is a weird 'WILLY WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY' sequel. LOL It is such a crazy theory, but.....the big "W"s on everything....I can so buy it. Click HERE this guy has a lot of good points (just note...spoilers).

Overall, I did end up liking this film even though I was totally meh after watching the trailer with BF. The ending was a touch confusing for me and it was too open-ended for my liking. However, this was a good movie. VERY dark and VERY sad, so be warned. I'll give this 3 stars.

REVIEW:

I've had this on my "to-watch" list for a while now. Finally, I decided to clean house and watch it.

The story follows Audrey and Morgan who are best friends. They unwittingly become entangled in an international conspiracy when Audrey discovers the boyfriend who dumped her was actually a spy.

What a hoot. I felt bad for Audrey and Morgan who just want normal lives. Dang, that boyfriend! I would be so p-oed. If you are a spy you need to tell the person you are with or...say you work for the government. Or something. GAH. Communication is vital.

This was funny. But realistic funny. Sure, some silly scenes of course, but I liked it. Morgan was a hoot. She was over-the-top, but I would love for her to be my friend!!

I was meh about the little romance there. He was hot, but meh.

I did not like the twist at the end. I don't fully even understand it or how it was possible...or even necessary to the plot. Meh.

Overall, this was a nice and funny film that I recommend to forget about all the problems the world is going through. A couple things I was meh about, but overall I enjoyed it. I want to make BF watch it. It is action-packed and humor-packed. I'll give this 3 stars.

DISCUSSION:

I did watch this one the same day it came out, was it as good? Nah. But still fun.

It was fun. Very, very, VERY cheesy. And not at all like the book. It was very condensed and was missing a lot. However, it was fun on its own accord. People who have never read the book would follow along fine.

Yes, reading the book is certainly not necessary, but they are really cute and fun! I liked and did not like how book 1 ended with them not even together. But here they are and then a little drama, and maybe dad finds love, and the end. Very short. Movie 1 was certainly better, but I couldn’t stop watching either ;) I had to know they would be fine.

Completely agree on everything you said. Movie 1 was waaay better. But like the majority of transition stories the 2nd one is the rough patch. I hope they do movie 3. I haven’t read book 3 yet, but there is still a lot of growing up for our characters. They haven’t resolved all their issues yet and I really think they need to sit down and talk. Be honest 100%. And maybe get rid of Gen. Have her move away or something. Tired of her butt.

Ugh Gen is the worst, but she is a toxic leech! He is being too kind. Just stop it, let her deal with her own stuff. I am reading my review for book 3 right now...wait. I was more negative in my memory, maybe I was kind in my review. But it felt like they went through the same stuff again and I didn’t really like Peter there. Ring a bell. But I totally want a movie 3.

Maybe we can read/listen to book 3 before the next one comes out ;) You know they are for sure going to do the 3rd one too! They would be fools NOT to. YESSSS GEN IS A LEECH! Her reasons for hating Lara Jean is STUPID. Grow up >_>.

Ehh, no. Since my memory said it was meh, I say no ;) The books should have stopped at 2. Or 1.

Hahahaha. I agree. BUT a nice short story or giving us an epilogue would’ve been nice. I want to see where everyone ends up as adults and out of the High School BS.

I honestly can’t even remember now if they are together after book 3...dang what happens in book 3? I remember college woes and a beach house. Read it and tell me.

You know I will! I have it on my shelf waiting for me. I am curious, but I am nervous. I just want them to be happy even though book Peter pisses me off. Movie Peter is WAY better. Yes, he does some of the dumb stuff still, but not AS much and he’s not AS sneaky as book Peter.

Lol. I will wait and see then. I honestly do not have a lot to say. I enjoyed the movie. You should DEFINITELY watch movie 1 first (cos the cutest) and you should totally read book 1 too! Gen sucks. LJ and Peter are cute together, when they are not idiots (like 90% of the time). And yay for their dad too

Yes, yes, and yes. I’m happy Dad is finding love. And poor John!!!! I want John to have a HEA. He was the sweetest. I love Peter more, but I adored John. Especially Movie John...they picked such a cutie to play him. Not at all how Book John was described, but I liked him. Fun cast. I wish we had more Stormy interactions. Oh well. Overall, fun, cheesy, and cute. Not amazing. But good.

Stormy was cool. John was great, but hmm, maybe not for her.
The end already? How can I not have more to say? I mean it was good, the end

A quick one! But I think we covered the main points!
Yes, the end :)

REVIEW:
A random watch on Netflix thanks to BF. Oh boy haha.

The story follows Becky and Cal. They are drawn into the tall grass when they hear a boy calling out for help. They soon find out they are not getting out. Dark things hide in the tall grass.

This was a pretty confusing film because there was some time skipping around. But it did make it scarier because there were no firm rules in the grass. It was an anything-goes place. EXCEPT leaving of course. *shudders* Too bad none of them had a lighter or something. I would've burned it all to the ground. BURN THE GRASS!

The twist near the end was good. I feel for Travis. I feel bad for all of them except the baddie. The baddies was NUTS.

A very different movie and unique concept for sure! If you are looking for something different and scary this is it.

In the end, I was confused because there were some time elements mixed in as well. So it worked pretty good. It did scare me. I'll give this 3 stars.
