Happy Monday everyone! So starts another week... Well, this week has started off with rain showers and super hot weather (at least in Michigan). I don't mind hot, but it's also super humid, so I'm grumpy today. haha. How's the weather in your neck of the woods?
The first video I would like to share is a combination of two things I adore: one being songs by One Republic and the second is Boyce Avenue. The two together would equal Boyce Avenue singing 'Apologize' by One Republic. Enjoy:
Next is 'Hurt' by the fabulous Christina Aguilera. I picked this for a couple of reasons. One is that I love this song and Christina Aguilera and two is because this song reminds me of Phedre from 'Kushiel's Dart'. Her parents abandoned her (to them it was for a good cause) when she was a small child. I can only imagin what it feels like to be abandoned by both parents. If she was to pick only one song to dedicate to her parents, I bet it would be this one:
