2021 Goals

Hellllooooo 2021! I have so much hope for you! I do have my worries, but overall....I have hope.

Here are my book goals and my general life goals for the year *fingers crossed*

Reading Challenges

First thing first....I would like to read, overall, 145. I barely made the 140 last year - so I'm really going to try and push myself a wee bit.

Doing Bingo again this year! I nearly got all the bingos. Ideally I want to get them all, but I would be happy with at least 4. :)

I did pretty well last year. I think I'm going to do level Marathoner (Look Ma No Hands), so 50+

Life Goals
Oh life has been weird the last year.

I guess like normal, I am dedicated to really shed some weight/be healthier. I don't really care about the number of pounds I lose. I want to feel good and like how I look especially now I have a wedding that'll be planning throughout the year. We are thinking May 2022 for the wedding. We have time, but time flies fast.

I also want to really get back into writing and painting. They really help me focus and relax.

For blogging, I want to keep posting minimum 4 times a week. That is a fair amount.

Get Your Shit Together Challenge - Week 1

I joined a fun challenge for the month of October! It is a way to help us get our shit together. 4th quarter of the year and this checklist is bound to help us get there.

Every Friday or so I will share what I was able to check off. The goal is to do 1 thing a day off the list. Here is the list. I even printed a physical copy for me to prep myself.

For this week I have some stuff marked off!

#1 (prepping for this challenge)

#2 (commit to something healthy this month - eating more fruit),

# 18 (Donating some shoes and tossed old pairs in the garbage. I also got rid of a lot of nicknaks in this closet),

#25 (went through all my clothing. Through a few old things away and donated a whole bag of stuff. I also put all my summer clothing away and brought up the fall/winter clothing. You can see a bag of shoes form #18 and some random nicknaks I'm getting rid off too.).

Happy Thanksgiving...Be Thankful Always

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Yes, I love this day not only because of the food and having some days off (yayy for 4 days off *throws confetti*). I love hanging out with my family (and sometimes the occasional friend who joins us). I also love taking a moment to remember to be thankful for all I have and everything I have obtained. Everyone should be thankful always, but sometimes life gets in the way and makes us forget all the good things we have.

The most recent thing is buying a house with my love. It took lots of hours at work and lots of penny-pinching, but it has been worth it.  Made you this is a picture before it become ours, so it looks WAY sunnier and warmer than it truly is today. LOL Too cold to go out and get a new photo ;)

WHAT are you thankful for?

Best of June 2017

Hi All!

This is just a fun little meme that Blodeuedd and I are going to try  and do once a month. Give a little shout-out and "badge" of honor to our favorite book and movie of the previous month. This month we'll share our favorites of June.

Favorite movie:

For Blodeuedd....LIFE

"I watched 4 movies in June. I know right, omg. 4! Of course only one we managed to watch in a single night. None were awesome, but if I have to choose I will go with Life. Sure I did not always keep attention, but omg that ending. That was awesome!"

For Carole.....The Secret Life of Pets

"I didn't watch many movies last month. But this one was good. I love animated films and especially ones about animals. It was super cute and worth the watch even if you're an adult. That cat was for sure my soul animal."

Favorite book:

Bloduedd's pick is Assassin's Fate by Robin Hobb

"I did not read any truly awesome books either. I read good books and the best one has to go to Assassin's fate because it was the last one in the trilogy and I will miss Fitz and the gang."

"Again, nothing crazy good this month, but I did have a couple really good. The best one was Heart of Stone which is a sequel and in some ways better than the first book. The first book was better, but this was almost as good. I loved the characters and the story and the world. So good. I can't wait to read the last book of the series."

About the Authors
Carole and Blodeuedd have been blogging a long while now. The last couple of years the epic duo have been discussing books, watching movies, and even wetting the pen and sharing their stories with the worldwide web. They both love cats, chocolate, and a good story.

Please Forgive Me

It's been a crazy few weeks and as you can see, I have been posting limited posts. School and work and personal life is bogging me down. I only have 3 weeks left of my Summer semester (which I took this year to help me catch up) and I'll be back to my normal rate of posting. For now please, please forgive me for my limited postings.
