Taking a Vacation!

Hi all!

This week is going to be a little dry, because Boyfriend and I are going on vacation! We are heading to northern Michigan for a bit. I'll have SOME access to wifi, but we plan to be out and about everyday.

I shall be back Sunday evening! I will, of course, share a million photos!!!!

Please Forgive Me

It's been a crazy few weeks and as you can see, I have been posting limited posts. School and work and personal life is bogging me down. I only have 3 weeks left of my Summer semester (which I took this year to help me catch up) and I'll be back to my normal rate of posting. For now please, please forgive me for my limited postings.

Done with classes and exams for the semester. YIPEE! I will also be taking winter off...I may take off Spring (we shall see then). However, I will probably going on a book binge. hahaha. I haven't been able to truly read for pleasure the last couple of weeks due to crunch-time. Sighs. Such is the curse of school. I have a couple reviews lined up for you guys! Thanks for being so patient with me. ^.^ *hugs*

Hiatus

Hey you guys! As you know I've been on a wee little hiatus last week/weekend. I got a couple posts in, but not as much as I would like. I'll probably still be sort of absent this week...or until I get all my big papers out of the way. As of right now I have two papers left. Yipee! One is an 8 pager and the other is a 16 pager. >_____< Once I get those done, I'll be pretty much free again. I should be back and posting like a madwoman by the end of this week or next week. Perhaps if I get some freetime, I'll be able to post what I want. I just have limited time to actually type up reviews and etc. GAH! Stupid college life, I hate you. So good luck all my college-goers I know that finals are on the horizon. Take a deep breath and relax.

Apologies

Sorry the blog has been so bare the last few days....I really haven't forgotten about you all! However, life has been getting in the way - again - work is drowning me, because we are so short staffed. Also, I have news...I'm moving!!!!! The official date is the September 6th, but I'm going through my stuff and deciding what to keep or get rid of or keep at the parents abode. Yup. I'm a big girl! I'm rooming up with my pal, Reece. So it's a little hectic. I'm still reading. Things will calm down in a couple days after my day 8 workfeast ends.

I'll try to post tomorrow my movie review or book review!

Anecdote of the Jar by Wallace Stevens

Happy Monday everyone! I am having horrible luck lately! Jeez. My router is broke so I have no internet at home. We bought a new one and its being a pain. >.< The only way I can use the blessed internet is to go to a public place or go to a friend's house or Boyfriend's apartment. NOW Youtube is acting up. Sighs. I can't win these last couple of weeks. 

In place of my scheduled Music Monday post, I shall post some poetry. It's been awhile. ^.^ This poem I had memorized for my American Lit II class. Not sure why I didn't share it earlier...oh well. It is called 'Anecdote of the Jar' by Wallace Stevens:

I placed a jar in Tennessee,
And round it was, upon a hill.
It made the slovenly wilderness
Surround that hill.
The wilderness rose up to it,
And sprawled around, no longer wild.
The jar was round upon the ground
And tall and of a port in air.
It took dominion every where.
The jar was gray and bare.
It did not give of bird or bush,
Like nothing else in Tennessee.

Happy (Early) Thanksgivings!!!

First of all.....HAPPY early THANKSGIVING to all who celebrate and even for those that do not.....thank you guys for being awesome and following my blog! *throws confetti* I know I haven't been too active for the last couple of weeks. School, work, nanowrimo, my friends, my family and a general lack of time has kept me away from the internet. At least you guys understand *hugs*
