Review:

This is such a fun short series, and I love this town!

This time, we are following Natalie and Ben. The two love nature and want to protect it, but they have HUGE disagreements about how to do so. During a rescue mission to save an injured eagle, she sprains herself in the process. Ben saves her, saving an eagle, and now he's taking care of both. They realize how much they actually have in common and how much chemistry is between the two. However, Ben has deep insecurities, and Natalie is an "outsider" who will probably not stay. 

I liked this one. Natalie and Ben are sweet. They both care about nature. However, their ideas of conserving nature are vastly different. He wants to lock nature away and keep anyone from it. Natalie wants to make it open to the public to teach the people. Educate the next generation! 

Very sweet, and I loved watching them fall into friendship and then love. It was quick, but it worked for them after being stuck with each other. 

But yes, I can't wait for more from this town. It's sweet and quick.

Review:

Another book of the series. I'm liking this town and these stories. :D 

In this one, we follow Andrew and Emma. Andrew thought they had it all when he started dating Emma. He wanted to marry her, but she wanted to follow her dreams and left. Years later, he has built a new life by opening a coffee/cafe house in Juniper Falls. Emma never wanted to lose Andrew forever. She tried reaching out to him to let him she was pregnant but he had disappeared. Years later, she has finally found him. Old sparks reignite, but can Andrew forgive her? Can Emma? 

Second chance stories are soooo hard for me to like. It all depends on the situation and the ways they work toward forgiveness. I struggled with this one. Yes, Emma did "try" to find Andrew...sure....but c'mon. You had zero ways? NO ONE knew? IDK. It just bugged me. And like why didn't Andrew just go with her? All of these issues could've be resolved but everyone was just too darn stubborn. GAH.

This is a short story so maybe I would've connected better if I had more time and got to see more of the past and more of the work of forgiveness. It was all so easily resolved in 50+ pages. 

Not my fave of the series, but I will read more. This is an adorable series and I like Hazel a lot....I love this dang town.

Yayy, another short story! Love the idea of this series. :) 

In this one, we are following Lila and Graham. They were high school sweethearts, and it went wrong when Graham left. Decades later, Graham is back to take care of his ailing father. Seeing Lila again is both a comfort and a curse. She was the one, but he had to leave her behind. This is their chance to find love again, but will the past and doubts pull them apart?

Another sweet short. I'm liking this series. It's quick and sweet. 

I am soooo picky with second chance stories. It depends on WHY they broke up the first time. In this one, I didn't mind the reasons, and I was rooting for them to get back together. Get over the past and love each other. 

A little more drama than the last one, and I was here for it. It was balanced. 

The ending was lovely. 

Can't wait to read book 3!

Review:

I was looking for some shorts to read since I've def been in a reading slump. This series sounds adorable, so I grabbed the first couple of the series. 

Here we follow Tessa and Hale. Tessa can't bake to save her life, but she wants to learn so she can honor her late aunt in the pie-baking contest. Enter in grumpy Hale. He knows how to bake, and he doesn't want to teach anyone anything. However, there is something about Tessa, and he agrees to help her. As they sit in the kitchen mixing ingredients and swapping stories....sparks begin to fly between the two. However, there is a meddling rival that could ruin everything. 

This was very sweet and clean.

Hale and Tessa are perfect for each other.

The drama was limited and easily fixed. A little TOO easily fixable. I would've liked a little more here. 

Now I'm hungry and want an apple pie. 

This is a cute town. I want to read more for sure. 

Short, sweet, and perfect for a morning read while you sip your coffee. I'll give this 4 stars.
